Office Administrator – Join Our Te Hopai Team Are you an organised, friendly people person who loves keeping things running smoothly? Do you thrive in a busy environment, enjoy a bit of variety, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in? We’re looking for the right person (or people — we’re open to job sharing and school hours ) to join our small but awesome Administration Team at Te Hopai . This is a 4-day-a-week role, working Friday to Monday , and a full NZ driver licence is essential . So, what will you be doing? No two days are quite the same! You’ll be an important part of the team, helping keep our administration humming while providing a warm and welcoming face to everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll be responsible for things such as: Providing general administration support across Te Hopai. Welcoming visitors and being a friendly first point of contact for residents, families, contractors and staff. Keeping resident files accurate, organised and up to date. Supporting our Chief Executive and Care Managers with day-to-day administration. Assisting with staff rostering and responding to enquiries. Helping with resident admissions and discharges. Taking residents to appointments when required — so being a confident driver is a must! Pitching in wherever needed and looking for ways to make life easier for the team. And, of course, the occasional “can you just…?” moment — because every admin team knows those are inevitable! What are we looking for? We’re after someone who is: A team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple things at once. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change. Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with people from all walks of life. Someone who uses their initiative and doesn’t need to be asked twice. Flexible, adaptable and happy to learn new things. Calm under pressure and able to keep the wheels turning when things get busy. A confident driver with a full NZ driver licence . You don’t need to know everything on day one — we’ll provide training and support to help you succeed .
