Receptionist - On call Casual

About the Role As the first point of contact for our patients—whether in person or over the phone—you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while helping our practice run smoothly. Working alongside our Practice Manager, reception team and clinical staff, you'll provide casual reception cover to support the practice during periods of annual leave, sick leave and increased demand. This is a casual, on-call position , with shifts offered as required between Monday and Friday, 8:00 am and 5:15 pm . This role is ideal for someone looking for flexibility who enjoys variety and is available to work at short notice when needed. Your Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients and visitors with a friendly, professional approach. Answer incoming phone calls and manage appointment bookings. Process payments, invoicing and patient account enquiries. Maintain accurate patient records and complete data entry. Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the practice. We're Looking for Someone Who Is Friendly, professional and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Organised, efficient and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills. Confident using computer systems ( Medtech is an advantage but not essential).
