Trade Support Team Member - Queenstown

TradeMax are the South Islands fastest growing, independent, building trade supplier, operating in Dunedin, Cromwell, Queenstown & Wanaka. We offer a wide range of materials, consumables & equipment for painting, plastering, tiling and all other building trades. Following ongoing expansion in Central Otago, we're on the hunt for a new team member to join our Queenstown store, located at Glenda Drive, Frankton. You’ll be helping our loyal, tradie, customer base with their day-to-day purchases, whilst assisting your amazing colleagues to run the store smoothly. Keeping shelves fully stocked, neat and tidy, receipting goods-in and all other day to day activities required in the running of our busiest store. Some heavy lifting is part of the gig, so being (or wanting to be) physically fit is important. What we’re looking for Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably within the building trades A tradie wanting to get off the tools, or a keen DIY’er looking to turn your passion into a profession Knowledge of building materials, tools, equipment preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A team player with a positive attitude, who turns up on time, every day Be physically fit, and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
