We are seeking experienced Cardiologists for a locum opportunity in Masterton (Wairarapa). This role would be covering sabbatical leave over a three-month period. While full-time availability is preferred, the service is flexible and would also consider a locum available for approximately two weeks per month to support ongoing cardiology service requirements. The role involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology responsibilities, including the triage of referrals, echocardiography reporting, Holter monitoring reporting, and two outpatient clinics per week. Additional duties may include direct current cardioversion (DCCV), case discussions with local physicians, and other general cardiology support as required. For longer placements, some on-call work may also be included. The ideal period of cover is from 31 August to 27 November , although any availability during this time will be considered. Location: Masterton, in the heart of the Wairarapa, offers the perfect mix of rural charm and outdoor adventure.
