Warehouse Operator

Container Movers Ltd is seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Operators to join our Hamilton-based team. This is a full-time, permanent position. About the Role This position involves the following duties, including but not limited to: Safe and efficient transportation of containers and freight. Loading and unloading vehicles. Picking, packing and dispatching freight. Inventory control and stock management. General warehouse housekeeping. Following all health and safety procedures What we offer: Competitive hourly rate of NZD $25.00 – $31.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Minimum guaranteed hours of 32 hours per week. Key Requirements: Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse environment (at least 1-2 years’ preferable). Experience with inventory management systems is preferred. Knowledge of Consignly is an advantage; however, training will be provided to the successful applicant. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A strong commitment to health and safety. Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and hold a valid work visa (if applicable). Pass a pre-employment medical assessment. Pass a drug and alcohol test. Provide satisfactory employment references. The following would be an advantage but not required: A current New Zealand Driver Licence. Experience using materials handling equipment, i.e. a current US16617 (or equivalent relevant qualification) or driving trucks to move goods.
