About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Import Operations Specialist to join a busy logistics team. This role is focused on coordinating import shipments from origin through to final delivery, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high level of customer service. You’ll be managing multiple shipments at once, working closely with overseas agents, shipping lines, and local transport providers to keep everything moving smoothly. Key Responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end import shipments (sea and/or air freight) Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading and customs requirements Liaise with international agents, carriers, and local service providers Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any delays or issues Provide regular updates and support to customers Ensure accurate job costing, invoicing, and system updates What We’re Looking For Previous experience in import operations or freight forwarding Strong knowledge of shipping processes and documentation High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach Experience with CargoWise (or similar systems) is advantageous What’s In It For You Stable role within a reputable logistics business Supportive team environment with hands-on training Competitive salary package #J-18808-Ljbffr
