Fulltime salary or waged role with our respected client The Role: This is a key Senior Foreman position within the joinery factory, taking ownership of the day to day scheduling, workflow and delivery of projects. You’ll be leading a medium sixed team on the workshop floor, balancing workloads and timeframes while overseeing project specifications, quality and overall delivery. You’ll work closely with the Projects team and the wider team to keep projects moving and ensure everything is completed on time and to the required standard. While this is a senior leadership role, it’s still very much a hands on Foreman position. You’ll need to be comfortable getting stuck in and helping the team daily. The company has a dedicated external installation team, so the role is primarily workshop based. However, from time to time you’ll be expected to get out on site and lend a hand when needed. This also gives you a great understanding of the full project from workshop through to final installation. What We're Looking For: Proven experience leading a joinery team and coordinating day to day workshop operations Highly competent with a wide range of power tools, machinery and workshop equipment Strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes, quality control and site installation Confident working in a fast paced environment while managing deadlines and keeping the team on track Strong attention to detail with genuine pride in delivering high quality workmanship Health and Safety focused with a positive, hands on approach Reliable team player who leads from the front, supports others and is comfortable guiding and developing less experienced staff Own basic hand tools and reliable transport Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa #J-18808-Ljbffr
