Retail & Dispatch Assistant — Saturday + one weekday Gadgets Online NZ Ltd – Mount Eden, North Island Daytime hours only — no evenings, no early starts, closed Sundays Easy to get to — Dominion Road, on good bus routes We're a Dominion Road store that's been going since 2008 — tech, sunglasses and fragrance. Most of our sales now come through our online store and TradeMe, so packing orders accurately matters as much as looking after the people who come in. This is a part-time role, around 10 hours a week across two days. You'll report to the Retail Store Manager. This position is mainly on the shop floor — Saturday plus one weekday. You'll also be trained in picking and packing online orders so you can cover the other side when needed. We have two positions available. The other one is mainly dispatch, on two weekdays. You're welcome to apply for either or both — just tell us which suits you. We trade 9:40am to 5:10pm, Monday to Saturday, and we're closed Sundays and public holidays. No late shifts, no early starts, no Sunday work. What you'll be doing Serving customers across tech, sunglasses and fragrance Operating the till and completing the cash-up at close Picking, packing and dispatching online orders Receiving deliveries and checking them against the order Helping with fortnightly stock counts Keeping shelves stocked and the store tidy and safe What we're looking for Legally entitled to work in New Zealand Accurate and methodical — picking the wrong variant costs us a customer Comfortable talking to people, and accurate with cash Happy with regular lifting and time on your feet Reliable — a small team means everyone's shift matters A second language is a real plus; we serve a mixed customer base No experience needed.
