We're currently hiring: Duty Managers About The Roles Working closely with the Venue Manager and leadership team, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of the venue. Responsibilities may include: Leading and motivating teams during service Supporting daily venue operations and driving team performance Delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, gaming and health & safety requirements Managing cash handling, end-of-day procedures and venue operationsTraining, coaching and developing team members Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and team development Supporting venue promotions, events and community engagement Maintaining high operational standards across all areas of the venue About You You’ll ideally have: Previous experience in a hospitality leadership role A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service Strong communication and leadership skills A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays Knowledge of gaming, liquor licensing and venue compliance is highly regarded Why Join New Zealand Venue Co.?
