KiNZ Myers Park Early Learning Centre is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated kaiako to join our team in Auckland’s vibrant CBD. Tamariki have space to explore, imagine, create and connect, supported by kaiako who are passionate about high quality early childhood education. About the role As an ECE Kaiako at KiNZ Myers Park, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team that genuinely cares about tamariki, whānau and each other. You will help create a calm, engaging and inclusive learning environment where tamariki are encouraged to explore, ask questions, build friendships and develop a lifelong love of learning. This role would suit someone who brings energy, kindness, professionalism and a genuine heart for early childhood education. About you We are looking for someone who: Is a qualified and registered ECE kaiako with a current practising certificate Holds a current first aid certificate Has a genuine passion for nurturing and supporting tamariki Builds warm, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues Enjoys working as part of a collaborative and supportive team Embraces play‑based learning and child‑led inquiry in a mixed age setting Values bicultural practice and demonstrates a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi Celebrates diversity and contributes to an inclusive learning community Enjoys hands‑on learning, creativity, nature and sustainability Ultimately, everything you do will support the wellbeing, learning and development of tamariki. About AKA KiNZ Myers Park is part of Ngā Tamariki Puāwai o Tāmaki | Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA), a not‑for‑profit organisation with a proud history of providing quality early childhood education across Tāmaki Makaurau.
