Job Description
Join a team building world-class specialty vehicles! About the job: No two days are the same at Wade Group. Working as part of our Build team, you'll be involved in the fabrication, fit-out, modification, and assembly of specialist vehicles. This role is ideal for someone with experience in coachbuilding, heavy vehicles, fabrication, mechanical assembly, or specialist transport equipment who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and enjoys varied, practical workshop work. Work within a well-established New Zealand business known for quality craftsmanship and innovative vehicle builds. Key responsibilities: Build and fit out premium transporters and specialist vehicles to exacting standards. Install vehicle systems, components, and custom features. Complete fabrication, assembly, and finishing work to engineering and compliance requirements. Work from technical drawings and specifications to deliver high-quality builds. Troubleshoot and resolve build issues to ensure a premium finished product. Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. You'll need: Trade qualification or equivalent experience. Auto Electrical experience would be plus Ability to read and interpret and technical drawings and plans. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A team player with strong communication and organisational skills. Safety-conscious and committed to quality workmanship.
