Driller - Construction and Anchoring

We are seeking a highly experienced and technical Driller, specializing in high-capacity ground anchors and slope stabilisation. This role involves working on a diverse range of geotechnical construction projects, frequently in steep, remote, or restricted-access environments. This is a premium role for a specialist who understands drilling mechanics in difficult and varied ground conditions. Key responsibilities Carry out specialist drilling and geotechnical construction activities, including the installation of ground anchors, micro piles, soil nails and other ground improvement works. Apply advanced drilling techniques, including the use of casing systems and variable flush methods, to safely manage complex and challenging ground conditions. Safely operate and maintain a modern fleet of tracked crawler drill rigs, excavator-mounted drill rigs, and associated specialist drilling equipment. About you Proven experience in geotechnical drilling and specialist ground engineering. Extensive experience installing high-capacity anchoring systems. Experience installing and grouting strand anchors, DCP pre-grouted bar anchors, or similar systems. Strong understanding of drilling techniques in difficult and variable ground conditions. Travel to project sites nationwide is essential Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
