This is more than a Service Manager role. It's an opportunity to take an established national service and repairs operation and transform it into a high-performing aftermarket business. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you'll lead the commercial growth of the business while creating the systems, processes and consistency needed to support long-term success. You'll inherit three experienced Service Managers who oversee the day-to-day workshop operations across Auckland, Hamilton and Christchurch, allowing you to focus on what matters most, growing the business, developing customer relationships and building a scalable national service model. What you'll be responsible for Approximately 50% commercial growth and business development Grow revenue across service, repairs, refurbishment, warranty and parts. Develop new national accounts and long-term service agreements. Build strategic relationships with fleet operators and transport businesses. Identify new aftermarket opportunities and increase customer spend. Approximately 50% leadership and business improvement Lead three Service Managers across the national network. Develop consistent systems, quoting processes and pricing models. Improve operational performance, profitability and customer experience. Introduce best practice across service delivery, reporting and KPI management. Work closely with senior leadership to shape the future direction of the business. We're looking for someone who has Experience growing an aftermarket, service or repairs business. Strong business development and commercial negotiation skills. Led multi-site service operations or regional teams. Built systems and improved business performance-not just managed the status quo. A background within heavy transport, trailers, commercial vehicles, engineering or industrial equipment. Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and profitability.
