This is a permanent, full-time role that includes regular shift and weekend work. Applicants should have at least three years of published reporting experience. They should be capable of writing factual and objective articles under tight deadlines, sourcing and applying multimedia to help convey information. Image-led content must be prioritised by this correspondent. The role will suit an energetic reporter with a keen interest in general news and strong passion for sport, along with a working knowledge of media law. They will help plan and manage major events, collaborate with colleagues and liaise with external stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is excellent organisation, professional presentation and good time management.
