Power Chill (NZ) Ltd – Waikato District, North Island Power Chill (NZ) Ltd is a leading provider of HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical services solutions throughout the Waikato and surrounding regions. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Services Design Engineer to join our team. Job Responsibilities include: Designing HVAC and mechanical services systems for commercial and residential projects. Preparing design calculations, equipment selections, and system layouts. Developing drawings and specifications using AutoCAD. Ensuring designs comply with New Zealand Building Code requirements and relevant standards. Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders. Assisting with project estimates, tenders, and technical proposals. Conducting site visits and provide technical support during installation and commissioning. Reviewing existing systems and provide recommendations for upgrades and improvements. You will have: Degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience in HVAC and mechanical services design. Strong understanding of air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. Knowledge of NZ building services standards and industry regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
