About the Role We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager – Roadside Rescue to strengthen, retain, and grow First Rescue’s key partner relationships across the motor vehicle distributor, fleet, leasing, corporate, and used vehicle markets. This is a relationship-driven role with a strong commercial focus, responsible for managing existing strategic accounts while identifying opportunities to grow and add value across our partner network. What You’ll Do: Proactively manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring strong retention, satisfaction, and long-term commercial value. Build and maintain trusted relationships with OEMs, motor vehicle distributors, fleet operators, leasing providers, corporate clients, and used vehicle partners. Conduct structured account reviews, performance discussions, and strategic planning sessions with partners. Work closely with Hub Services business leads and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and a consistent customer experience. Identify opportunities to expand product penetration, improve service alignment, and support sustainable account growth. Prepare renewal proposals, pricing recommendations, commercial updates, and revenue forecasts. Monitor partner performance, SLA outcomes, customer experience metrics, and service incidents, taking action where needed. What We Offer: A permanent, full-time role based in Auckland, Sylvia Park. What We’re Looking For: Motor vehicle industry experience is essential, preferably at dealership level. Proven experience in key account management, ideally within the motor vehicle distributor, fleet, leasing, corporate automotive, or related sectors. Strong relationship management, negotiation, and commercial planning skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and clearly communicate value. CRM experience and confidence maintaining accurate account information, meeting notes, pipeline activity, and forecasts. Strong analytical ability to assess partner performance, market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities. A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify long-term partnership opportunities and align them with business objectives. Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
