Payroll Officer New Zealand Government•Bay of Plenty, North Island, NZ Payroll Officer Rotorua Hospital Permanent, part time (40 hours per fortnight) Monday to Friday We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Payroll Officer to join our dedicated team based in Rotorua. Know more about living and working at the Lakes district Responsibilities Minimum of 3 years experience in a Payroll role Knowledge of payroll-related legislation, employment agreements, their interpretation, and application Experience with computerised payroll systems and processes; high level of computer literacy skills (including advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook along with data entry skills) Proven ability to cope under pressure with a high volume of work High degree of numeracy skills and time data calculations with accuracy and attention to detail Ability to set own priorities and meet deadlines without the need for constant supervision Good analytical, interpersonal, and problem solving skills Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with the ability to manage queries from customers in a professional and efficient manner Employment details Contract type: Permanent, part time; Working hours: 40 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday Benefits Competitive salary Free staff parking Fee flu vaccination Discounts (with local businesses) Access to Employee Assistance Program We welcome applications from our diverse Māori, Pacific, disabled, and rainbow communities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
