Floor Finisher

We are a large commercial flooring company, working on the biggest and most exciting new construction and refurbishment projects in Christchurch. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years' experience working on commercial job sites installing commercial timber. A candidate would be expected to have the following work experience and skills: Read and interpret floor plans and prepare carpet accordingly Verify on site measurements with floor plans Prepare a variety of subfloors including working with floor grinders, levelling compounds and other floor preparation products to ensure suitability for floor coverings Install commercial and residential flooring according to floor plans efficiently and accurately without call back. We are offering $30-35 per hour for a candidate with proven experience. The location of the job is in Christchurch. There are no formal qualifications required for this job.
