Are you currently a Broker Associate looking for that next step ? We have a great opportunity for a Senior Broker Associate to join our purpose-driven team in Whangarei. Your exceptional attention to detail and communication skills will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our broking team and assisting clients with their account, cover, and policy inquiries. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing your own small portfolio of clients , conducting risk consulting, and driving growth and renewals. Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and clients will be achieved through phone and email communication. We value enthusiasm and a passion for learning, so previous insurance experience is required. We will provide full training and support to ensure your success in the role. Take the first step towards a successful future in the industry and seize this opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference in the lives of our clients Key responsibilities for the role include: Resolve client queries (account and cover queries and policy amendments) Assist the Broking team with administration to ensure client requirements are met and policies are renewed on time Process alterations, endorsements and set up new policies and finance agreements Provide support to the client when the Broker is unavailable Prepare and dispatch renewal letters (including declarations, rating charts/underwriter placing’s) after consultation with the Broker Assist the Brokers with the collection of premiums within the required timeframe Prepare underwriter submissions and client reports for new business Servicing of renewals, new business, alterations and endorsements in line with our client commitments Set up new policies, arrange finance agreements and collect premiums within the required timeframes to meet our client commitments Deliver product advice and services within expertise, authority and experience Proactively develop and maintain client relationships by delivering outstanding customer experience to ensure trust and brand loyalty Skills and Experience: At least 3+ years’ experience in an admin / customer service role, preferably in the insurance industry The ability to build and maintain enduring relationships with clients and team members Highly organised and efficient with a strong attention to detail Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment Competent/advanced user of Microsoft Office A Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5) is required for this role, however, we understand that not all candidates may already possess this qualification.
