Established in 1968 and located in the heart of the Waikato’s dairying region, our Reporoa site has grown its capability to process 2.5 million litres of milk per day. About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga We currently have an exciting opportunity to become a L6 Operations Assistant based at Reporoa depot. As an Operations Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day milk collection operations and truck hygiene to ensure the fleet is compliant for milk collection. This role requires adaptability to work in all conditions, across all seasons. You will maintain a strong focus on health and safety, product safety, customer service and problem solving, alongside daily reporting. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Ensure the effective operation of yard equipment and conduct visual checks on SOPs in CIP and milk reception/load-out bays. Maintain stock levels for office and depot consumables within budget. Assist with driving and relocating tankers, collecting/delivering people Conduct CIP testing and record chemical/temperature levels, faults, and issues. Investigate tanker gradings and action maintenance requests. Regular reporting and completing documentation Provide administrative and operational support during audits, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently This position is Monday to Friday Days. About You | Mōu We are looking for a dedicated and committed employee who has a "can do" attitude to contribute positively to achieving our team goals. Your strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside demonstrated mechanical aptitude, planning and sound problem-solving skills will ensure things run smoothly. It is essential you have a basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), the ability to navigate computer systems and basic data entry and reporting experience. A Class 5 license and recent driving experience is essential.
