Stargazing Tour Guide

Key responsibilities Entertain customers during the night as part of the Stargazing Guides team Conduct stargazing tours using state-of-the-art telescopes, lasers and virtual reality Ensure guests feel safe and entertained throughout the experience Work evenings, weekends, and public holidays Address groups of up to approximately 40 guests About you At least 2-year work experience in hospitality, preferably in tour guiding, or a tertiary qualification in hospitality, culture communication, or similar Keen learner with a passion for astronomy Ability to remain focused and care about keeping people safe and entertained Comfortable addressing groups of up to approximately 40 guests Photography knowledge in particular for astrophotography and related technologies Natural entertainer with great people skills and commitment to ensuring a unique and unforgettable guest experience High level of fluency in English and ideally a second language First Aid Qualifications Lifeguard & Aquatics Qualifications $28.00 per hour starting rate with guaranteed 30 hours per week Work under one of the world's most spectacular night skies Ongoing training and development in astronomy and guiding Educational opportunities Higher level pathways available for keen learners Potential opportunity to move into a Supervisory position for career advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr
