Christchurch represents a key part of AWF' s strategy to maintain its position as New Zealand's leading provider of labour-hire and permanent placement services across key regional centres. We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager or Account / Relationship Manager, or recruitment consultant who's ready to take the next step, to lead our Christchurch branch and play a pivotal role in the growth of our newly established Civil and Construction arm. The role This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a branch while being at the forefront of building and expanding AWF's Civil and Construction specialisation in Christchurch. Ideally, you'll have a strong understanding of the local economy and construction market. While civil sector knowledge is advantageous, we're primarily looking for a commercially minded, and highly energetic, leader who can grow relationships, identify opportunities, and drive market expansion in this newly focused division. As Branch Manager, you will: Be a captain within the branch, enjoying a mixture of leading by example in the field and guiding a small team to success Drive revenue growth by maximising opportunities within AWF's key national civil clients and expanding into new civil and construction customers Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients and stakeholders Take ownership of branch performance, including financial results and cash flow targets Champion company‑led initiatives and the development of the Civil and Construction arm Ensure Health & Safety compliance to company and client standards Bring a minimum of 3 years' leadership or management experience Experience within recruitment, running a successful small business, or managing a branch of a national organisation will be highly regarded.
