Job Description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey. Bigfoot Adventures - North Shore, North Island Join a small, close-knit team that brings outdoor adventures to life across New Zealand. Do you thrive on organisation, solving problems, and making sure everything comes together behind the scenes? Are you someone who loves variety, enjoys working with people, and can adapt when plans change? This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering unforgettable outdoor experiences. While our instructors are out leading programmes, you'll be the person ensuring the right people, vehicles, equipment and resources are in the right place at the right time. Who we are: Established in 1995, Bigfoot Adventures provides outdoor education, recreation and adventure servicing schools, organisations and communities throughout New Zealand. We specialise in school camps, EOTC programmes, Duke of Edinburgh Award journeys, school and community bike skills events, and a wide range of outdoor experiences. Outdoor activities providing a strong foundationfor growth and development - from mountain biking, kayaking, climbing and caving to archery, abseiling, raft building, team challenges and stand-up paddleboarding. At Bigfoot Adventures we create experiences that build confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership, leaving a lasting impact long after the programme has finished. Experiences that go beyond the journey! The role: This is a 12 month maternity cover contract (fixed term), office based role with central business hours (8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday). A possible pathway for the right person. As our Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by: Helping Coordinate resources, instructors, vehicles, equipment and programme logistics. Planning schedules and ensuring resources are ready for delivery. Preparing operational briefings and maintaining accurate records. Working closely with Programme Managers and instructors to support programme delivery. Responding to changing priorities with practical, solutions-focused thinking. Ensuring equipment, vehicles and logistics meet operational and safety requirements. Supporting the wider team wherever needed - because at Bigfoot, everyone mucks in. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. Success comes from being organised, adaptable, proactive and able to keep multiple moving parts on track while maintaining a positive, team-focused approach. Who we're looking for: We're looking for someone who loves bringing order to complexity. You'll be highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure. You'll enjoy planning ahead, but you'll also understand that in the outdoors, plans can change quickly - so being adaptable and resourceful is just as important as being organised. Success in this role comes from anticipating what's needed before others do, communicating clearly, and working collaboratively across the business. You'll be equally comfortable coordinating logistics from behind a desk as you are rolling up your sleeves to help load trailers, prepare equipment or support the wider team when required. If you're practical, dependable, detail-oriented and genuinely enjoy helping a team succeed, you'll fit right in. Most importantly, you'll share our belief that everyone pitches in, no task is beneath anyone, and great outdoor experiences happen because of strong teamwork behind the scenes. To apply, applicants must have NZ residency OR a valid NZ work visa. #J-18808-Ljbffr
