You will provide expert advice and drafting support for Ministerial products, including Ministerial and Departmental OIAs, Ombudsman investigations and Ministerial Correspondence. You'll work closely with stakeholders across LSE and MBIE to source information, navigate complex issues and ensure advice provided to Ministers is accurate, timely and fit for purpose. You will also play an important role in supporting the quality and consistency of ministerial services delivery by providing peer support, quality assurance, coaching and technical advice to colleagues. Working alongside the wider Ministerial Services team, you will contribute to service improvement initiatives, help strengthen capability, and support the ongoing evolution of our ministerial servicing practices. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ministerial servicing practitioner who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering high-quality outcomes in a collaborative environment. Skills and Experience Required - Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana Experience preparing responses to Official Information Act requests, Ministerial correspondence, Parliamentary Questions and other ministerial servicing products. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, Ombudsman guidance, and public sector machinery of government. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to analyse complex information and produce high-quality advice under pressure. Experience providing quality assurance, peer support, coaching or technical guidance to colleagues. Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build credibility with a wide range of stakeholders. A customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and continuously improving outcomes. Initiative, adaptability and sound judgement, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to enhancing systems, processes and ways of working. You must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
