What the role looks like: We're looking for experienced Class 5 Drivers to join our top-performing bulk team based out of Hornby, Christchurch. You'll be operating a high-quality fleet working on a range of things including unloading boats at Christchurch ports as and when required and carting a variety of bulk loads including stockfeed and fertiliser etc Driver's must demonstrate good habits around vehicle care and presentation and be comfortable sharing a truck in some instances. Flexibility is required to suit business and seasonal needs. Your attention to safety, maintenance, and vehicle operation will reflect the high standards our loyal customers and suppliers expect. Work pattern: Either full time permanent (typically Mon-Fri with the occasional weekend as and when required) or on the books as a casual available as required and agreed. Averageshift: 10-12 hours (guaranteed minimum 80 hours per fortnight for permanent employees) What you bring to the table: Class 5 Licence (or equivalent) with 3 years of experience. W, T, R endorsements required Loader experience (preferred, but not essential) Previous bulk transport experience preferred Confidence navigating narrow rural roads and gravel terrain You're flexible and reliable with a proactive approach and a commitment to health and safety You're comfortable using/learning new transport related technology A passion for teamwork and customer service About us: Since our humble beginning back in the 1960's, Hilton Haulage has been keeping the wheels turning from Invercargill to Auckland.
