Enjoy the benefits of being part of our team: 50% childcare fees for your child Security of a stable, established organisation Fully funded first aid training Mental health and wellbeing hub & EAP support An innovative, high trust environment Culture that supports community projects The position: Fulltime, Monday to Friday, (40 hours per week, from 7.30am to 4pm) Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking vegetarian meals for approximately 88 tamariki each day Ability to cater for dietary and allergy requirements is essential for this role Responsible for ordering, and working within a budget NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisite Kindercare police vet all potential employees Who are you? An experienced Cook who is: Competent in preparing, cooking and serving food that follows our recipes Committed to the highest standards of cleanliness, and adhering to our policies and procedures A cheerful multi-tasker, with excellent time-management skills Willing to do cleaning, laundry and restocking supplies Flexibility to help out withother duties within the Centre Has strong organisation skills and time management A clear communicator who values the importance of team work Experienced in food preparation and food safety is preferred Come and work alongside our wonderful team who are committed to serving tamariki and whānau with love.
