Job Description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey. Business Canterbury - Christchurch, South Island Business Canterbury | Christchurch CBD | Full-time, permanent About the role Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Digital Systems Manager looks after the health, integration, and evolution of Business Canterbury's digital platforms, making sure our people have the tools, data, and support they need to do great work for our members. You don't need to be an advanced coder. You do need to know your way around a CRM, understand how data moves between systems, and get a kick out of turning a messy manual process into something clean and automated. What you'll do Own the CRM - you're the go-to person for HubSpot and the platforms that connect to it (Arlo, ScaleXP, ApprovalMax and others), keeping the data clean and the system working the way the business needs it to. Map processes and build workflows - sit down with each team, map how work moves today, and design the workflows, automations, and integrations that streamline it. Put AI to work - find practical ways to automate the repetitive stuff, and bring the team along as new ways of working land. Look after the website and forms - manage our website and digital assets, with a particular focus on how forms are built and how that data flows through to the CRM. Build reports and dashboards - give the team and the Executive real visibility of how we're tracking. What you'll bring Around 3+ years' hands-on experience managing a CRM. HubSpot experience is highly valued. A systems mindset: the ability to map an end-to-end process, see where it breaks, and design a better one. Experience building workflows, automations, and integrations that streamline how a business operates. An understanding of how websites and forms feed a CRM: how a form is built, where the data lands, and what it triggers. Broader website build experience is a bonus. Confidence building reports and dashboards that make performance easy to see and act on. An interest in using AI to automate work, and the practical sense to know where it's worth doing. Strong communication skills and a genuinely collaborative approach. You'll work with every team here. You don't need an advanced coding background or a formal IT career history. If you've built a business's systems and processes and can show us how you think, we want to hear from you. What's in it for you A broad, autonomous role. You'll shape our digital roadmap rather than inherit someone else's. Direct access to Leadership and visibility across every part of the organisation. Genuine scope to lead AI and automation initiatives that people will actually feel. A central Christchurch office, a values-driven team, and work that supports 2,700+ Canterbury businesses. About Business Canterbury As the home and voice of Canterbury business, our purpose is to back businesses to thrive by building capability, connections, and advocacy. With more than 2,700 members at the heart of everything we do, we're recognised as one of New Zealand's most influential business voices and a globally recognised leading Chamber.
