A minimum of 60 hours per fortnight is guaranteed. Your duties will include : Scanning and moving carcasses to chillers Weighing carcasses to ensure specifications are met Tubing, packing and scanning products Preparing and lining cartons to meet export standards Cleaning and sanitising chillers and work areas Loading products into containers Assisting with container loading Collecting and removing bone bins Following food safety, hygiene and biosecurity procedures at all times Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 6:50am-5:30pm, with some Saturday work required during the busy season. About You To be successful, you'll have: 6-12 months' experience in a labouring, factory, cleaning or similar hands-on role preferably within the meat industry Good physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual work A current New Zealand Driver Licence (or recognised International Driver Licence) and reliable transport The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Good spoken and written English communication skills An understanding of workplace hygiene, food safety and biosecurity practices A positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens, Permanent Residents, or hold valid New Zealand working rights (or be eligible to obtain the appropriate visa). #J-18808-Ljbffr
