Core Responsibilities, experience & abilities include: Equipment Setup and Dismantling: Setting up and dismantling cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment. Load Handling: Attaching and securing loads for lifting operations, ensuring they are balanced and stable. Safety Procedures: Abilility to adhere to safety regulations and procedures, conducting inspections and identifying potential hazards. Communication: Be confident to communicate with crane operators and other team members using hand signals and radio equipment. Equipment Maintenance: Hold a great eye for detail and able to inspect and maintain rigging equipment, ensuring it is in good working order. Teamwork: Team orientated, able to collaborate with other operators and trades people Material Preparation: Prepare materials for lifting, including selecting appropriate rigging gear.
