Rivertown Electrical is a growing electrical contracting business based in Huntly that takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. We work across residential, commercial, and light industrial projects, specialising in agricultural and poultry industries, building long-term relationships with our clients through reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail. We're looking for a Registered Electrician who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a supportive team, and wants to build a long-term career with a company that values its people. About the Role: As a Registered Electrician, you'll be responsible for completing a wide variety of electrical work, including: Residential installations and renovations Commercial installations and maintenance Agricultural installations and maintenance Fault finding and repairs Switchboard upgrades Lighting and power installations Testing, commissioning, and compliance documentation Providing excellent customer service on every job You’ll work independently as well as alongside apprentices and other electricians, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Requirements: Current New Zealand Electrical Registration Current Electrical Practising Licence (EWRB) Full New Zealand Driver Licence Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills High standard of workmanship and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage your workload A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team Experience supervising apprentices Experience using Fergus job management software (training can be provided) Experience in the agricultural and/or industrial sector would be an advantage. Can liaise well with customers and suppliers. Be honest and trustworthy and a team player. As we offer a 24-hour service the successful applicant would be part of a rotating callout roster.
