The role involves carrying out and supervising building work across retail stores, restaurants, cafés, hospitality venues, and a range of commercial and renovation projects. Key Responsibilities Complete framing, internal alterations, wall and ceiling work Install doors, hardware, fixtures, and finishing components Read and interpret building plans, drawings, and specifications Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and other trades Manage daily site activities and resolve construction-related issues Maintain accurate site records and project documentation Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard Comply with relevant building requirements and health and safety procedures Requirements Current New Zealand Licensed Building Practitioner qualification Relevant carpentry qualification and proven building experience Experience in commercial fit-outs, renovations, or similar construction projects Ability to work independently and manage site responsibilities Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication and coordination skills Full New Zealand driver licence Strong commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety Please note: The LBP Carpentry licence class is required for practitioners carrying out or supervising restricted building work within the relevant building categories. #J-18808-Ljbffr
