IT Application Support (ERP) – East Tamaki Overview Join a well-established and highly respected business that supplies critical infrastructure to New Zealand and across the world. This is a practical, delivery-focused opportunity to ensures business-critical applications run reliably and securely, helping teams across branches, supply chain, back office and manufacturing work efficiently and accurately. Role Reporting to the ERP Manager, you will be a key member of the IT team supporting the business and its external partners. Your primary focus is day-to-day application support – investigating incidents, managing access, supporting change activities and driving continuous improvement – with a strong emphasis on Infor M3 and connected applications (POS, Customer Portal, Power Apps and other integrations). You will work closely with process owners and stakeholders across the business to keep systems stable, users productive and processes consistent. Some of the key responsibilities: Provide support for business applications, primarily ERP - Infor M3 and connected systems (POS, Customer Portal, Power Apps and custom integrations). Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests and problems; perform root-cause analysis and implement preventative actions. Coordinate with internal technology teams and external vendors for escalations, fixes, patches and platform support. Support change and release activities, including impact assessment, user acceptance testing, cutover support and post-release stabilisation. Identify recurring issues and friction points; propose improvements that reduce rework and improve user experience. Deliver application training and user onboarding, create training materials, and provide floor-walking or virtual coaching. Follow cyber security policies, apply identity verification, and report suspected security incidents promptly. What you'll bring Demonstrated strong experience providing IT application support (incident/service request/problem management) in a business-critical environment. ERP experience is strongly preferred (Infor M3 highly desirable), including understanding of end-to-end business processes and master data. Experience with user and access administration (e.g. Active Directory / Entra ID, application roles, group maintenance) and a solid understanding of least privilege. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; able to adapt to complex issues rather than relying solely on scripted processes. Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical concepts into practical guidance for non-technical users. Security-first mindset with the ability to interweave security throughout all activities. Experience supporting integrated applications (POS, portals, Power Apps) and working with stakeholders across sales, supply chain and manufacturing is preferred.
