About the Role The Regional Cancer and Blood Service at Te Toka Tumai is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Team Administrator to join our friendly, supportive, and fast-paced Oncology Outpatients Department one of the largest oncology services in New Zealand. This role plays an important part in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care to patients and their whānau. Reporting to the Oncology Charge Nurse, you will provide essential administrative and reception support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the service. Key responsibilities include: Managing a wide range of administrative and reception duties for the departmentWelcoming patients and visitors while coordinating clinic appointmentsSupporting senior clinical management teams with clerical processes and daily operationsAssisting with the effective coordination of outpatient services in a busy healthcare environment About You To be successful in this role, you will have: At least 2 years experience in an administrative or customer service roleIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsPrevious experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (preferred)Strong organisational and time-management skillsExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesThe ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare teamA positive, proactive, and can-do attitudeStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsA commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori For more information about this role, please contact Nettie Johnson, Charge Nurse at [email protected] Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Careers is committed to delivering excellent healthcare for all New Zealanders.
