Garment Technician/Production Controller

The role available is a Garment Technician and Production controller role. Typical tasks are: assist in developing the fashion range for K&K and Coco & Belle. Create tech packs for out bound styles based on design team plan Measure inbound samples and liaise with suppliers on fit issues Follow production critical path and track production milestones Follow shipping to ensure on time delivery Many other production tasks including in some cases fitting samples K&K is a New Zealand owned and operated fashion retailer with 20 stores nationwide and a strong online presence. The product design team is very small (currently 3) and offers a very happy and friendly work environment. Ideally you would have some experience in measuring garments and general Garment Tech work. A fashion degree is very useful but not critical. The ideal candidate is organised, focused and can work under pressure. You need to be experienced in Excel and in working with garment specs. Typically would suit a North Shore resident wanting to avoid Harbour Bridge traffic. The role is 3-4 days per week (20-30 hrs) but can be more or less during busier/quieter times in the production seasons. Free onsite parking is available.
