About the role Join the experienced team at Finding Voices Limited as a Speech Language Therapist. Our main clinic is in Rosedale, however you may support families in our various clinics around Auckland. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to clients, helping support their communication development. Key responsibilities Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' strengths, and areas for support. Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions to clients of all ages Collaborating with other professionals to ensure holistic, client-centred care Working alongside our Occupational Therapists, Literacy Tutors, Mentors and Play Therapists to ensure cohesive services are provided to families Maintaining client records and preparing reports as required Contributing to the continuous improvement of therapy services and clinical practices Supporting development across a range of skills such as speech, language, verbal and non-verbal communication, feeding and alternative and augmentative communication. Empowering families/key caregivers to support their child's development outside of sessions Ideally, this is a contractors position, however part and full time employment would be considered for the right candidate. About you A Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Therapy, Master's degree in Speech Language Therapy or equivalent qualification Registration or eligibility with the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists' Association (NZSTA) An understanding that play is a power therapeutic tool Ideally, proven experience in a paediatric or private clinical setting If you are a new graduate, experience working with children in other settings would be preferred Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to engage effectively with clients and their families Adaptability and problem-solving skills to provide tailored therapy services Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice The right to live and work in New Zealand About us Finding Voices is an Auckland based therapy provider, offering Speech Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mentoring and Literacy Tutoring.
