Job Description
Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey. CINCT is building a strong, local digital delivery team, and we are looking for a BIM Modeller/Technician specializing in MEP building services to join us in Cambridge . In this role, you will use Autodesk Revit to develop coordinated, data-rich BIM models and deliver precise documentation for Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic systems on a variety of complex projects. You won't just be pushing buttons; you’ll actively identify coordination issues, flag missing info, and help resolve clashes before they reach the site. We are looking for an Intermediate-level candidate with at least 2 years experience using Revit (a non-negotiable). Familiarity with tools such as Navisworks, Revizto, Dalux, ACC/BIM 360 or similar coordination platforms would be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Revit Modeling & Documentation: Build accurate 3D models and produce clear plans, sections, setout, and installation drawings across Mechanical (HVAC), Hydraulic (plumbing/drainage), and Electrical systems (power/lighting/containment). Coordination & Clash Resolution: Develop coordinated models from design inputs, assisting with multidisciplinary clash detection and spatial problem-solving. Quality & Model Integrity: Maintain organized, accurate, and consistent project models and documentation standards. Proactive Problem Solving: Identify potential constructability issues early, raise clear questions, and avoid assumptions that lead to rework. What We’re Looking For Practical MEP Knowledge: Experience across Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic systems, with a solid grasp of how building services are designed, coordinated, and installed in NZ construction. Tool Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of MEP modelling in Autodesk Revit. Familiarity with coordination platforms like Navisworks, Revizto, Dalux, or ACC/BIM 360 is a strong plus. Trade / Site Experience (Highly Regarded): A practical construction or trade background is a massive advantage—knowing how systems go together in the real world makes a better modeller in the digital one. Ownership & Communication: Clear written and spoken English. You take pride in your work, ask questions upfront, and balance independent progress with knowing when to seek guidance. Why Join CINCT? 100% Local Capable Team: You will be part of an engaged, in-house team where the quality and consistency of your work will directly support the strong foundations behind the company’s early success. Work-Life Balance in Cambridge: Based locally in Cambridge, offering a connected office culture with flexibility (open to full-time or part-time arrangements for the right fit). Room to Grow: We value innovation, automation, and practical ideas. Bring your specialist MEP knowledge, software skills, or site background to help shape our workflows. Only applicants with eligibility to work in NZ will be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
