These are hands‑on roles working for Tacoland. The positions involve preparing and serving food and beverages, taking customer orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workspace. The roles are suited to individuals who can work independently and efficiently in a fast‑paced setting. Key tasks and responsibilities Prepare and serve a range of food and beverages from a food truck, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met Take customer orders accurately in a fast‑paced service environment and communicate clearly with team members Operate the point‑of‑sale system, process cash and electronic payments, and issue receipts as required Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients under supervision Prepare simple food items and assist with meal assembly during service periods Maintain cleanliness of the food truck, including food preparation areas, service counters, and equipment Clean and sanitise surfaces regularly to meet food safety and hygiene requirements Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, ensuring proper storage within limited space Clean and maintain equipment such as grills, fryers, coffee machines, and other food truck appliances Assist with setting up and packing down the food truck before and after service, including securing equipment and stock Receive, check, and store stock and supplies in accordance with food safety requirements Participate in stocktakes and assist with monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages when required Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures at all times Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain a clean and organised mobile work environment Work collaboratively with team members and provide support across all areas to ensure smooth and efficient service You must have: At least 6 months of relevant experience in a hospitality or food service environment, or A diploma level qualification in hospitality or food services, or A degree in any field You must also have: Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision Good time management and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Strong customer service and communication skills Reliability and ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work across different locations and shifts, including evenings and weekends What we offer Permanent, full‑time employment Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week (rostered, including evenings and weekends as required) Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
