The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive People & Culture Coordinator to join our Head Office team. You'll play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, compliance, systems management and people-focused projects. This position is full time, 40 hours per week, worked in the Head Office on Birmingham Drive, Middleton. We're looking for someone who loves getting stuck into a variety of tasks, enjoys improving processes, and has the initiative to see things through from concept to completion. You'll need to be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and enjoy building positive relationships across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for teaching, reliever and support employees. Maintain accurate employee records, people databases and compliance requirements, ensuring confidentiality and attention to detail. Support leave administration, employee movements, appointments and workforce planning activities. Assist with People & Culture projects, initiatives and organisational programmes. Contribute to employee engagement, recognition programmes and culture initiatives. Develop and maintain people-related content on the organisation's intranet and internal communication channels. About You You are a positive, approachable and highly organised person who enjoys supporting others and making things happen behind the scenes. You're equally comfortable collaborating with a team or managing your own workload and priorities. You'll bring: Excellent administration and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail. Confidence using Microsoft 365, including Excel, SharePoint and a range of business systems, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies. A proactive approach and the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and follow tasks through to completion. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organisation. The flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. Bonus points if you have: Experience working in Human Resources or People & Culture. Experience in the education sector or an understanding of early childhood education. This role is ideally suited to an HR professional with at least 2 years' experience in a Human Resources, People & Culture, or related HR support role. We're seeking someone who is keen to further develop their HR career and enjoys providing practical, people focused support within a collaborative team environment. As this role works with sensitive information, the successful applicant is required to undertake and maintain a clear children's worker safety check including a police vet.
