FOH Supervisor / Duty Manager

About the role You'll lead front-of-house teams and oversee the successful delivery of events across Moveable Feasts venues. You'll ensure every event is delivered safely, professionally and to the exceptionally high standards Montana Group is known for. As an Event Supervisor / Duty Manager, you will: Lead front-of-house teams during weddings, corporate functions and special events Build strong relationships with clients, venues and suppliers Ensure events are delivered smoothly and exceed client expectations Manage events involving alcohol in accordance with licensing requirements Complete post-event reporting and contribute to continuous improvement Support beverage stock management and stocktakes Assist with staffing coordination and weekend operational support Coach and develop team members while fostering a positive team culture Ensure health, safety and food safety standards are consistently maintained About you You'll be an organised and confident hospitality professional who enjoys leading people and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Ideally you'll have: 2–3 years' experience in hospitality, events, venue management or weddings Previous experience leading teams in a busy hospitality environment Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities A calm, professional approach under pressure Flexibility to work evenings and weekends Current Duty Manager's Certificate (or ability to obtain one) Full New Zealand driver's license About us Montana Group is New Zealand's largest privately owned catering company, employing over 1000 people across Auckland, Waikato, and Canterbury.
