Alignz Recruitment – Hamilton, North Island A well-established manufacturer within the heavy engineering and transport sector and is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join their team. This is an ongoing temporary-to-permanent opportunity with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. About the Role You will be responsible for preparing and painting heavy machinery, transport equipment, and engineering components to a high standard. Working as part of a skilled production team, you will play a key role in ensuring finished products meet quality and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Surface preparation including sanding, grinding, cleaning, and masking Applying primers, paints, and protective coatings Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met Maintaining painting equipment and work areas Following all health and safety procedures Assisting with general workshop duties as required About You Previous industrial, automotive, or heavy equipment painting experience Competent using paint systems Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Able to work effectively both independently and within a team What's on Offer Immediate start available Competitive hourly rate based on experience Ongoing full-time hours Temporary-to-permanent opportunity Long-term career prospects for the right person If you’re an experienced painter looking for a role that could lead to permanent employment and can hit the ground running, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
