Our Railway Ave workshop in Lower Hutt brings five brands together under one roof - Peugeot, Citroën, Leapmotor, Subaru and INEOS. We're after an experienced Automotive Technician, and if you're operating at Master Technician level, even better. You'll be servicing, diagnosing and repairing a genuinely mixed fleet, from well-established models through to the latest EVs. If you're more experienced, there's real room to take on the trickier diagnostic work and help bring less experienced techs up to speed. Key responsibilities Carry out servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs across multiple brands Work across a wide vehicle range, including EVs Maintain a high standard of workmanship and efficiency Support and mentor junior technicians where relevant to experience level Deliver excellent customer service Operate workshop equipment and tools safely and correctly Skills & experience Strong diagnostic, servicing and repair skills across a range of vehicle makes Solid technical knowledge and hands-on expertise, ideally within a franchise dealership environment Good time management, communication and teamwork skills A full, clean New Zealand Driver Licence, or international equivalent WOF certification EV or hybrid vehicle experience For Master Technicians: relevant trade qualifications and a track record of complex diagnostic work Armstrong's is New Zealand's leading automotive dealer group, 100% Kiwi-owned, with 21 brands across 21 dealerships nationwide.
