About the role We are committed to delivering an exceptional, seamless experience for our guests. Our Massage Therapists contribute to this by delivering personalised treatments tailored to each guest's individual needs and wellness goals. Key responsibilities Welcome guests from the pool area, escort them to their massage suite and provide information about Onsen, their treatment and our facilities. Conduct pre-treatment consultations to understand guests' relevant medical history, individual needs and any conditions or concerns. Recommend and deliver appropriate treatments based on each guest's needs and preferences. Clearly explain treatment methods and techniques to guests. Deliver a range of massage and body treatments, including relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, therapeutic massage and hot stone massage. Tailor treatments using a range of techniques to promote relaxation, support recovery, improve circulation and relieve muscle tension. Incorporate complementary techniques such as cupping where appropriate. Monitor guest responses throughout treatments and adjust techniques to ensure comfort and effectiveness. Maintain treatment rooms and treatment areas to a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and organisation. Follow all health, safety, hygiene and massage therapy procedures. About you A Massage Therapy qualification equivalent to an NZQF Diploma (Level 5-6), or at least three years' relevant experience working as a Massage Therapist. Relevant industry experience. Experience in deep tissue and relaxation massage. A warm, professional and guest-focused approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong commuminication skills and confidence engaging with guests and understanding their individual needs. Excellent work ethic, initiative and attention to detail. The flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including daytime, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts. Must have work rights to be able to work in New Zealand. #J-18808-Ljbffr
