Our client is looking for a GP to join them in a large, modern general practice in Ashburton, caring for over 10,500 enrolled patients and offering a well-supported, team-based environment. This is an opportunity to join an experienced, high-performing multidisciplinary team in a purpose-built facility, with strong systems and a consistent, sustainable workload. The Role Monday to Friday, with structured morning and afternoon sessions 15-minute appointments, 12 per session Modern practice with two minor procedure rooms and dedicated triage Established patient base within the largest general practice in the region The Team & Environment You'll work alongside GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, HCAs, and a wider support team, with strong clinical leadership and full administrative backing. The practice also offers an integrated "one-stop" model, with on-site pharmacy, physiotherapy, and visiting specialists, supporting efficient and coordinated patient care. Location - Ashburton Ashburton offers a practical balance of lifestyle and accessibility: Population approx. 21,700 Affordable housing (avg. ~NZD $536,000) Easy access to Christchurch Strong outdoor lifestyle including hiking, skiing, and fishing This purpose-built, multi-million-dollar family health centre was completed in December 2017, combining several long-established local services.
