We're after someone who can run a tractor like it's second nature — mowing, spraying, spreading compost, cultivating cover crops — and who's just as handy keeping the gear that does it, (mowers, mulchers, sprayers, trimmers) running clean and sharp. Add in some irrigation, trellis work, and general vineyard graft, and you've got the job. What you'll need: A driver's licence and a genuine can-do streak Growsafe certificate is a bonus, but can be arranged Comfortable starting early, and pitching in on the odd weekend at harvest An eye for detail — vineyards change daily, and so do you A team mentality, a straight-up work ethic, and respect for doing things safely No corner-cutting, no shortcuts, no bulk chemicals masking bad farming.
