Automotive Service Technician and Mechanic King Toyota is looking for an Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our Lower Hutt team on a full time basis. The Role: Carry out the role of Technical Advisor, assisting Service Advisors to accurately identify and confirm customer concerns Diagnose complete mechanical and electrical faults using Toyota diagnostic equipment and technical information Communicate directly with customers to confirm symptoms, explain diagnostic findings, and discuss recommended repairs Liaise with Toyota New Zealand on technical enquiries, warranty repairs and other technical cases Servicing and maintenance of vehicle systems Repairs and mechanical work Test driving vehicles to determine defects Liaising with service advisors The successful applicant will have the following attributes: Proven experience in automotive diagnostic work and fault finding Experience communicating directly with customers, including confirming customer concerns and discussing repairs Accuracy and quality focused Strong work ethic and enjoy a challenge Strong communication and interpersonal skills New Zealand Drivers Licence We are looking for someone with their WOF certification or someone willing to become certified.
