Provide one-to-one tutoring support to help a student in Year 9-10 understand learning material, build confidence, and make steady progress. The majority of our younger students require predominantly Maths tutoring and some English or Science tutoring. Applicants must be living or intend staying in Christchurch until 28 November 2026. Key responsibilities Explain concepts clearly and adapt your approach to suit the student’s learning style. Help the student work through homework, revision, and subject-specific questions. Encourage good study habits, confidence, and a positive attitude to learning. Share simple feedback on progress and areas that may need extra attention. Skill requirements Strong knowledge in the subject area being tutored. Clear communication skills and a patient, supportive manner. Ability to explain ideas in a simple, practical way.
