About the Clinic Warkworth Vets is a well‑established eight‑vet mixed practice serving the wider Warkworth and Wellsford regions. We operate from a modern, purpose‑built hospital, backed by our Wellsford branch. As a genuinely mixed clinic, we see a broad spectrum of cases — primarily small animals, supported by a diverse mix of lifestyle block & production clients. We’re known for our excellent standards of care & keeping the majority of our cases in‑house, including advanced medical and surgical cases, giving our veterinarians unparalleled clinical exposure and development opportunities. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative, and highly experienced team of Vets & Nurses who genuinely enjoy working together and love what they do. The Role One of our wonderful vets is relocating, creating a rare opportunity for a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join our team. Predominantly small animal, with a balance of lifestyle & production Full‑time opportunity Rostered Monday to Friday 1:5 Saturday & weekend on‑call rotation 1x weekday on‑call roster (5pm until 10pm and 6am-8am). Overnight support through ARC Great work/life balance - with the next Friday off following your weekend shift for a 3 day weekend. The majority of cases stay in‑house, supported by visiting specialists where needed, giving you real continuity and hands‑on experience If you're wanting to deepen your clinical skills, broaden your caseload, and work with a team that backs your development, this is the perfect role. You’ll also bring BVSc or equivalent, recognised by the New Zealand Veterinary Council Confidence with routine surgeries and consultations Experience and interest in Ultrasound would be desirable but not required A warm, collaborative approach and a desire to grow your skills within a mixed caseload We’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
