Fire Security Services – Hamilton, North Island Join a growing operations team and make a real difference We are looking for an organized, proactive and highly capable Operations Coordinator to join our team and provide critical operational and administrative support across the business. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, this is a varied role that sits at the centre of our operational activity. You’ll work with leaders, branches and internal stakeholders to keep things moving, ensure information is accurate, and help improve the way we operate. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, has strong attention to detail and wants to build their experience across a broad operational environment. What you’ll be responsible for Your responsibilities will include: Providing coordination and administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, including meeting agendas, minutes, actions and reporting. Managing day-to-day fleet administration, including vehicle transfers, registrations, fuel cards, fleet records and vehicle onboarding and disposal. Coordinating vehicle and operational insurance claims from initiation through to submission. Preparing and distributing monthly operational reports and supporting accurate operational record keeping. Managing operational purchase orders, invoices, supplier administration and expenditure reconciliation. Supporting operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives. About you We’re looking for someone who is more than just an administrator. You’ll be someone who naturally takes ownership, follows things through and looks for ways to make processes better. You will bring: Previous experience in an operations coordination, administration or business support role. Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. A strong track record of getting things done and delivering accurate, high-quality work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Confidence working with systems, databases, spreadsheets and reporting tools. The ability to build positive relationships and work effectively with people at all levels. A willingness to ask questions, seek feedback and continue developing your skills. Experience in the fire/service industry is preferred, but not essential. This is a role with genuine variety and the opportunity to make an impact. You’ll work across multiple areas of the business, gain exposure to senior leaders and operational teams, and have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and functions as you develop.
