Are you anexperienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic looking to step into a senior role withvariety, autonomy, and the opportunity to mentor the next generation? Join ourteam and work across a diverse fleet of industry-leading machinery used in portoperations and the forestry sector. About the Role In this seniorposition, you’ll take ownership of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance acrossa broad range of heavy diesel equipment. You’ll be working with some of themost reputable machinery in the industry, including: Mafi / ITV Wharf Trucks & Trailers You’ll get exposureto both workshop and some field service work, ensuring machinery remains safe,reliable, and operational with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair heavy diesel engines and hydraulicsystems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections Provide day-to-day guidance to our apprentice mechanic Work collaboratively with operations teams to prioritise urgenttasks Available to participate in an on-call roster About You You’ll bring solidmechanical expertise, strong problem-solving ability, and a commitment tohigh-quality work.
