Warehouse Assistant

Weft Knitting Company – Christchurch, South Island Weft Knitting Company Ltd is a privately owned, family-run business based in Christchurch. We are manufacturers of high-quality knitwear and thermalwear for domestic and international markets. With a focus on innovative, sustainable products, we serve the tourist, fashion, outdoor, and rural industries, specialising in Possum Merino, 100% Merino and Thermalwear. The role is full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4:00pm, and we can offer an immediate start. Key Responsibilities: Picking, packing, scanning and dispatching orders Moving stock to assigned warehouse locations Assisting with regular cycle counts and stock takes Receiving, receipting and checking incoming orders General warehouse duties Skills & Experience: Ability to work as part of a team and be hands-on. Trade experience is preferable but not essential as in-house training will be given High attention to detail and accuracy Great attitude and reliability Ability to work under pressure Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand Please note applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or resident to be considered for this job.
